We routinely rent and buy ski and other sports equipment from the Darien Sport Shop. Although there are 2 floors of clothing etc on the 3rd floor they carry sports and ski equipment attuned to the sports of the season. The staff are excellent and very knowledgeable. Prices are fair, and for childrens ski equipment, it is hard to find a better deal for renting for the season. I rate them five stars particularly for their customer service: the staff went above and beyond several times to make sure we were satisfied with our gear. Excellent establishment, highly recommended.

Darien Sports Shop on the Post Road in Darien is an amazing family owned business catering to people who insist on quality. Attention to detail with highly trained outstanding sales help is the norm for this exceptional sports store. From designer apparel and footwear to custom fittings in the comfort of this well run family business. Free parking outside makes this store an ideal destination. My mother drove me to Darien Sports Shop for the finest quality in clothing and custom fittings in footwear. With a huge selection and extraordinary service I’m returning to Darien Sports Shop to find a few key pieces for my fall wardrobe. Highly recommended to everyone I know for excellence in a convenient location. Great store!

Incredible service! The packaging was wrapped impeccably. The item was exactly as described. They truly went above and beyond. No wonder why they have been in business for 75 years. Great company!

I never visited Darien Sport Shop in person. I found them online because they were the only store that had a hoodie I had been looking for! I couldn’t but it online so I emailed them… Greg from marketing responded very quickly saying they still had the hoodie and he was holding one for me, all I had to do was give them a call. I called the next morning as they were already closed by the time I saw his response. I was helped by a couple of people over the phone… they quickly located the item that Greg had set aside for me and I completed the purchase with Rachel over the phone! What a great, friendly and helpful group of people! I am so thankful I have found them! Best customer experience ever! Thank you so much guys!

Extremely impressed by this store! Went for the first time today and it definitely will not be the last time. The service by Jose and Alex was second to none. They were extremely attentive and helpful in educating me on the different styles/brands they offer. Can’t wait to go back!

Went in to buy a BSA uniform. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They let me try out a new virtual reality headset they had just gotten in stock for fun. Everything is on the pricey side (what can you expect from a store that requires all employees to wear a suit & tie?), so I probably wouldn't buy too much there.
